A Home from Home
Ofsted praised the nursery’s homely and inclusive atmosphere, where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. From the youngest babies receiving reassuring cuddles to preschoolers proudly chatting with visitors, children are at the heart of everything we do.
Strong relationships with families were highlighted as a key strength, with parents describing our nursery team as warm, approachable, and deeply committed to their children’s development.
Inspiring Learning Every Day
Children at Monkey Puzzle Seer Green enjoy a broad and exciting curriculum that sparks curiosity and builds skills for the future. Ofsted observed:

Babies climbing and exploring in our indoor gym.

Toddlers creating imaginative “ice creams” with foam.

Preschoolers building towers and practising counting.
Staff make learning meaningful by introducing new vocabulary, encouraging turn-taking, and celebrating achievements to boost confidence and self-esteem.
Supporting Every Child’s Journey
Language and communication are a high priority at our nursery. Story times, visual prompts, and real-life experiences – from visits by firefighters and doctors to celebrating cultural events – help children develop their speech, broaden their horizons, and see themselves represented in their learning.
Leaders were praised for their ambitious vision and for ensuring children access opportunities beyond the nursery garden, such as local park visits to develop coordination and physical skills.
